Creating was my first passion…

Growing up, we didn’t have much, but we had a lot of arts & crafts supplies!

Growing up in Visalia, California during the 90s was a challenging time for my siblings and me. Our mom, who was still a teenager herself, navigated teen life with us by her side. Luckily, the hardships were outweighed by how much time we spent at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We watched classic movies, listening to Patsy Cline on repeat, and indulged in loads of salty comfort food. Most importantly, I treasured a kitchen drawer filled with art supplies that ignited my love for drawing. I can still vividly recall the smell of crayons and construction paper. In 1995, we moved to Branson, Missouri, where I embraced new experiences but also faced new challenges. Throughout it all, my passion for drawing continued to flourish and has shaped me into who I am today.

As an adult, I have kept myself busy. I dedicated nearly 16 years of my life to music, and although I should have spent that time drawing, I have no regrets. It provided me with a valuable perspective that I truly cherish and ultimately led me back to my original love: illustrating and designing.

However, nothing has changed me as profoundly as becoming a father. When my daughter was born, I instantly gained a new perspective on life. It happened in the blink of an eye. Suddenly, I realized that I needed to spend the remaining years of my life doing something that would make me and my family proud. Every sketch I create, every photograph I take, and every project I undertake is not only for my own fulfillment but also for the happiness and success of my family.

I still have a long way to go, but I am excited to share my journey with you!
